The award season is upon us, and a number of global television shows have proven they are the best in the world by winning the prestigious International Emmy Awards. The award ceremony in New York took place on Monday night, 20th November. The 56 nominees for this year were recognized with 14 awards. These nominations came from 20 countries across six continents and were handed out by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Several nominations were received from the United Kingdom (UK), Brazil, Canada, Germany, and India. Netflix and Prime Video dominated the majority of categories, including the most anticipated, Best Drama. The two categories for Best Actor and Actress were the most crowded, with many famous names competing.
