Ong Seong Woo, Byeon woo Seok, and Kim Jung Eun also star. The story follows Gang Nam Soon who, as a young child, disappeared in Mongolia. She has now returned to Korea to find her parents. She is entangled romantically in a drug-related case while a criminal pursues the heroin addict. Nam Soon, like Do Bong Soon has superhuman strength and can save people from the most terrifying situations.
A new installment, which will expand Strong Girl’s universe, is reportedly being developed. A JTBC representative confirmed the news and was quoted as saying: “We have plans to install another installment, but are currently concentrating our efforts on writing another project.” The second season was released seven years ago, so we don’t expect to see a third one anytime soon. However, fans are excited about the idea of expanding the franchise, which can be considered South Korea’s first female superhero series.
