
All Elite Wrestling (AEW) – co-founded and run by Tony Khan, is one of the biggest professional wrestling promotions that give WWE a tough competition. The Jacksonville-based company – which had been making the headlines owing to its wrestlers and jaw-dropping matches, has reportedly faired badly when it comes to the October 25 episode rating.

According to Wrestlenomics’ (via Cage Side Seats), AEW Dynamite drew 774,000 viewers for its Wednesday night episode on TBS in the 18-50 year old demographic. This earned the show a 0.24 rating – the lowest rating it has had in this category on its regular night since June 24, 2020.
According to the report, the audience for Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamics dropped 14.1% from the 901K viewers it had last week and was the lowest total since June 15, 2022. The rating is down 22.6% since last week, when it was 0.31. It’s tied for Dynamite’s lowest rating of 2023 – this year’s June 28 episode also fell to that mark.

This week, AEW Dynamite’s Halloween Havoc Night One had a lower audience than WWE NXT. NXT has 787K viewers while Dynamite only has 774K. However, the AEW show had a higher rating in the 18-49 demographic – 0.24 to NXT’s 0.21. Dynamite’s total audience was down 22.4% compared to the same week of 2022. Its 18-49 rating fell 25%.
The opening week of NBA regular-season games was one of the biggest competitions AEW faced last night. This was Dynamite vs. the NBA’s 1st head-to-head matchup since June. Normally, NBA matches have a negative impact on AEW’s ratings. According to the report AEW Dynamite ranked 6th on the cable sports charts that day. All the programs that beat it were either NBA games or basketball related programming.
