World Cup 2023 broke the record for most sixes scored in a single tournament. Earlier this year, the World CupSri Lanka scored the 464th six against Bangladesh in the ongoing tournament, which saw the most sixes hit in one edition. The 500th maximum was scored by the defending champions England against the Netherlands.

Rohit Sharma, India’s skipper, has already scored 22 sixes. Rohit Sharma is currently leading the list of most sixes in the tournament. Glenn Maxwell, of Australia, is next with 22 sixes. David Warner is third on the list with 20 maximums. Fakhar de Kock and Quinton Zaman, both from South Africa, are tied for fourth place with 18 sixes each.
