Chael Sonnen Inks Iconic Anderson Silva Tribute on His Arm “Man of My Word”
The former UFC fighter and title challenger took to X to reveal that he got a tattoo of his former opponent. He posted three different pictures of him getting Silva on his right bicep and captioned it with, “I’m a man of my word.”
Fans had very diverse reactions to the ink. Some joked about it and saw the humor in it. Some said it was either Photoshop or AI, as Sonnen would never do something like that. And others wondered why ‘The Bad Guy’ had to get an Anderson Silva tattoo.
Sonnen didn’t explain why he got it. Silva and Sonnen were involved in some of the most exciting pre-fight buildups we have ever seen. There were several verbal conflicts and many possible deals between the two depending on the outcome of their fight.
It is therefore no surprise that Chael Sonne got the Anderson Silva Tattoo because of a bet he made with the Brazilian. It is possible that Sonnen lost to the Brazilian both times. We won’t know for certain until Sonnen confirms.
