Odegaard’s last match was a Champions League victory against Sevilla in the away game last month. He missed the next match of the Premier League, a 5-0 thrashing by Sheffield United.
The captain of Arsenal missed the match due to hip problems. The Arsenal captain returned to the team as a replacement in their subsequent match, which was a defeat against West Ham United in the Carabao Cup. Odegaard has now missed 3 matches across all competitions for the Gunners.
Odegaard has missed at the very least two of these matches due to a non-specific injury sustained in training. The injury does not seem to be a long-term issue.
According to the coach, the captain will be back to his normal self after the end the international break. He should be able take the field again by the end of the month when Arsenal play Brentford in Premier League, and then Lens in Champions League.
Odegaard is currently on national duty with Norway, for their Euro qualifying matches and friendly matches. It is still not confirmed if he can play or not. He might still travel with the team.
Norway will play Faroe Islands on November 16 in an unofficial match. On November 20, they’ll face Scotland for the Euro qualifiers. Both matches are irrelevant for the Norway team as they are currently in 3rd position with 10 points in the Group A of Euro Qualifiers.

Georgia, ranked 4th in the standings, will be unable to surpass Norway because they have a better head-to-head result. Norway can’t also climb higher because they are 5 points adrift of Scotland, who is in second place. Only play-offs can qualify them for the Euro 2024 finals.
In this case, Norway could experiment if Stale Solbakken, the head coach, decides to let Odegaard go. If Odegaard’s fitness is not up to par, the coach may decide to let him go.
