Dilip introduced his special guests who revealed that the player who would receive the award is Nuwan, who works tirelessly in the background.
The Indian fielding coaches praised Ravindra Yadeja, Suryakumar Yaddav and KL Raul for their contributions to the IND vs NED Match. Surya was named the best fielder after the groundstaff revealed his name letter by letter.
Surya then received a mob of his teammates before Nuwan gave him the award.
After winning the award, Suryakumar Yadav, while talking about fielding coach T Dilip, said, “He’s been behind me since one year. Finally, I believe that this is the reward.
