The 2023 PUBG MOBILE global championship (PMGC) entered Week Two over the weekend with Group Red, which was the second Group stage of the competition. Out of sixteen teams, Nongshim Redforce, Six to Eight and Morph triumphed to secure the group’s top three spots, qualifying for the upcoming PMGC 2023 Grand Finals in Istanbul, Türkiye.
Nongshim Redforce, a Korean team, dominated Group Red last week. They finished in first place and scored 203 points. XZY, the player from Nongshim Redforce, was named the MVP of the group for racking up the highest damage scores. This is the first time that a Korean team will make it to the PMGC Grand Finals in years

Six to Eight and Morph were second and third with 186 and respectively 178 points, securing a place in the Grand Finals. Duksan Esports were the team to keep an eye on in Group Red. On Day 4, despite a dip in their performance on Days 2 and 3 they managed to match the record of three Chicken Dinners within a single day and jumped up the leaderboard all the way to 5th with 163 points.
Duksan, Nigma Galaxy (4th), and other teams in the top 11 including FaZe Clone and INCO will advance to the Survival Stage to have another chance at making it to the Grand Finals.
The competition has eliminated Intense Game and Next Ruya as well as Seventh Element, HAIL Esports and Konina Power.
NS Redforce is now in the running to be crowned PUBG MOBILE World Champion. They will compete for a prize pool of $3 million at the PMGC 2023 Grand Finals, which will take place on the 8th-10th Dec.
