Neymar has revealed a dramatic hairstyle while he recovers after a ruptured ACL which cut short his season. On InstagramThe Brazilian player posted a picture of his new look. The £130 million-a-year star has returned to Brazil to rehabilitate after joining Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal from PSG.

The South American footballer, who is the all-time top scorer in his country, has become known as much for his off-field appearance as for his on-field achievements. The 31-year old loves to stand out and isn’t afraid to change things up.

Neymar’s latest setback is a result of a rough start in the Middle East, despite his high-profile move. Brazil’s star completed a £78 million move to Saudi Arabia from PSG in August, signing a two-year agreement for £130 million each season. However, he sustained an injury when playing for Brazil in their 2-0 World Cup qualifying loss to Uruguay last month.

Neymar’s future is uncertain as he recovers. Al-Hilal have deregistered Neymar since he sustained the ACL injury when representing Brazil. Saudi Pro League rules limit each team’s roster to eight non-Saudis. Al-Hilal boss Jorge Jesus wants to bring in a foreign left-back to his squad.
