Indian cricketer and Kolkata Knight Riders’ star batter Venkatesh Iyer Recently announced his engagement with Shruti Raghunathan Instagram. The 28-year old shared adorable pictures with his future spouse to share the happy announcement, giving fans a peek at their joyful moments. See the beautiful pictures below.
Shruti is not well-known. According to sources, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from PSG College of Arts and Science and has a Master’s degree in Fashion Management. She is employed at Lifestyle International Private Limited as a Merchandise Planner in Bengaluru.

Iyer was thrust into the spotlight by his outstanding performances at the top order in 2021, and played a key role in guiding KKR in Dubai to the final. Iyer, despite KKR losing to Chennai Super Kings in their final match, emerged as one the league’s rising talents.
Iyer had a journey of a lifetime over the next six-months. At age 26, Iyer was selected as a net bowler for India at the 2021 T20 World Cup held in the United Arab Emirates. The following year, he earned a place in the Indian T20I Team for the first time when they faced New Zealand in India. Iyer played in nine T20Is (and two ODIs) for India between November 2021 and Febraury 2022.
A limited number of opportunities were given to the 28-year-old due to Hardik Pandya’s injury. His last Indian appearance was in February 2022 against Sri Lanka. He was eventually selected for India’s gold-medal winning squad at the Asian Games 2023.
