Gareth Southgate’s England is currently dealing with a serious injury crisis. Five key players are unable to play in the upcoming Euro qualifying matches due to injury. Southgate’s England will have a difficult time deciding on the final two squads for the qualifiers, even though England is already qualified to play in the main event.
The Three Lions announced on Thursday their squad ahead of two Euro qualifying games against Malta, and North Macedonia. Each game is a kind of preparation for the mega-event. Around 5 players, including Jude Bellingham, will miss the game this month.

Tottenham confirmed recently that James Maddison Injuries will prevent him from taking part in the international break. The 26-year old suffered a blow against Chelsea. Ange Postecoglou confirmed that his injury was serious and that he would be out for some time.
Ange Postecoglou says: “Madders was a lot worse than what we thought.” He was injured in the ankle and was out of action for a day. [he] It wasn’t very good so we sent it for a scan. It’s not good for him and probably not. [out] “Welcome back to the new year.”
Gareth Soutgate has already dealt with four injuries within the England squad. Maddison will be the fifth player to miss regular matches due to injury. Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka The player was forced to leave the game against Sevilla after suffering an injury. Arteta does not consider him for the Burnley game because he appears to have rolled his ankle.
English striker Callum Wilson The Newcastle star is unlikely to play as he is not match fit. The 31-year old will miss his team’s game against Bournemouth on Saturday. The next big name to be concerned about is Jude Bellingham Who suffered a shoulder injury in Real Madrid’s Champions League win over Braga.
Brighton star Lewis Dunk The injury suffered during the Europa League match against Ajax has also forced him to withdraw. The 31-yearold defender left the pitch at halftime with a groin issue.
