Could England’s Jude Bellingham miss Euro Qualifiers games?

Jude Bellingham’s injury has already caused him to miss a Champions League match and a La Liga game for Real Madrid.

Jude Bellingham came to Real Madrid with an enormous price tag. He has delivered every time he’s played for Los Blancos. His performance for the National Team has also been amazing. He was therefore called up for England’s Euro qualifiers this month. He did, however, suffer a shoulder injury on November 5. He missed two matches for Real Madrid. Gareth Southgate can therefore bench him in the matches.

Jude Bellingham suffered a shoulder injury in Real Madrid’s La Liga game against Rayo Vallecano, on November 5. His recovery takes time, and he has missed their two next matches. He missed Los Blancos’ Champions League match against Braga on Wednesday and La Liga match against Valencia at the weekend. 

His contribution to the team has been enormous. He was naturally called up to play in England’s two Euro qualifiers this month. He is expected to fly to England for an evaluation, but it has not been confirmed.

A statement from England stated that GOAL was the goal. “The report to St. George’s Park Monday with further assessment to take place.” Bellingham will be required to report for duty with the National Team on Monday. The health of Bellingham will determine whether or not he plays in the upcoming matches. 

Real Madrid’s coach is expecting Bellingham rest during the break for international to fully recuperate. Los Blancos may have won both games Bellingham missed but the newcomer is a vital part of the team.

Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid’s boss, was asked about Bellingham’s availability after the 5-1 victory Real Madrid had over Valencia at the weekend. Ancelotti didn’t hold back when he wished for Bellingham to return soon. 

He said “He will be evaluated, but I expect him to return.” [in Spain] again quickly. If he did not play today, then he cannot play for England. He will work on strengthening his shoulder in the next few weeks. After the international breaks I think he’ll be able to play once again.”

With two matches left, England has already qualified for the Euro 2024 finals next year. They are unbeaten in six matches and have 16 points from a possible 18 so far. 

The Three Lions will play two inconsequential games against Malta on November 18 and North Macedonia November 21. Gareth Southgate can experiment with his team, as there is nothing at stake. Bellingham might be injured and the coach may not want to risk it by benching him. 

Numerous players in Europe’s top competitions are injured. Bellingham was not the only England player to miss England’s matches during November. James Maddison from Tottenham, Newcastle United striker Calldi Wilson, and Brighton defender Lewis Dunk all pulled out of the squad due to injuries this month. 

Southgate has already named Ezra Kosa and Rico Lewis to replace injured players. Chelsea defender Levi Colwill could still make the England squad despite missing their match against Man City.
