Real Madrid announced that Brazilian winger Vinicius Jr. has suffered a serious injury in his left hamstring. He is expected to be out for 10 weeks.

Vinicius, who was with Brazil’s squad during this week’s international break, was injured in the 27th minutes of the match against Columbia.

Vinicius Junior was earlier excluded from the Brazil team’s match against Argentina. He left the Selecao for Madrid, where he underwent additional tests at the club facilities.
