What is the controversy between Aishwarya Bachchan and Pakistani cricketer?
For those unaware, a video of Abdul Razzaq was made viral a couple of days ago in which he spoke about the intentions men have in cricket. Abdul elaborated by mentioning Aishwarya in his statement. He spoke about not wanting to produce polished and good cricketers for Pakistani cricket. He then used Aishwarya as an example, saying that it would be impossible to get good, pious children by marrying Aishwarya. His comment received a lot criticism.
Abdul Razzaq, the Pakistani cricketer who made hurtful comments about Aishwarya Ra Bachchan, has apologized.
After receiving a harsh backlash, Razzaq went to his X handle and apologized. “I’m very ashamed of what I said yesterday. I know I used very bad language. “I apologise for everything, please forgive me,” wrote he with emoticons of folded hands. In the video Razzaq posted alongside the apology, he claimed he accidentally used her name. It’s ironic that Razzaq talked about intentions, but his statement was turned against him. Aishwarya, or any of the other family members, have not yet commented.
